Tequila

Tequila is an appellation of origin drink, which determines the geographical location where it can be produced.

These areas are located in 181 municipalities, distributed in 5 states of Mexico: Jalisco, Guanajuato, Michoacán, Nayarit and Tamaulipas.

In Taco y Tequila we serve an wide selection of tequilas with “Sangrita”, a tequila chaser that was created specially to balance the flavor of this drink in the palate.

If you want to try different tequilas in the same classification: blanco, reposado, añejo, cristalino o extra añejo, order a “tequila sampler”.

Mezcal

Mezcal is an authentic Mexican distilled beverage and, even though Oaxaca is considered the “world capital of mezcal”, the truth is that this beverage is protected by its appellation of origin, which covers the states of Guerrero, Guanajuato, San Luis Potosí, Zacatecas, Durango y Tamaulipas.

Mezcal is an alcoholic beverage, made with any Mexican native agave plant. The word mezcal comes from the nahuatls dialect, which means “agave cooked in oven”

For the Mexican indigenous cultures, Mezcal is not only an alcoholic drink, but a spiritual beverage as well.

In Taco y Tequila we serve our Mezcales with orange, worm salt and grasshoppers.

Do not forget to try our Mezcal Sampler, to try the best versions of this beverage.
